OVERVIEW:
TheProductManagerisresponsiblefortheoverallmanagementandmarketingstrategyfordesignatedproducts,supportingthespanoftheproduct’slifecycle.  ThisinvolvesthecreationofstrategiesandmarketplanswhichallowKemintogrowthesalesandprofitabilityoftheassignedproductline(s),implementingaproductdevelopmentprocess,reducingproductcost,andensuringworldwideproductstandards.  

RESPONSIBLITIES:
1. Responsibleforsettingproductstrategyandoverseeproductlinelifecyclesfromstrategicplanningtotacticalactivities.
2. LeadProductInnovationProcessthroughnewproductconceptsubmissionsaswellaschampioningproductsthroughtheprocesstolaunchbycollaboratingwithcrossfunctionalteams.
3. Executeproductstrategiesandinitiatives,setproductandpricingstrategy,aswellaspricingandvolumediscountschedulestoproducethehighestpossiblelong-termmarketshareandprofitability.
4. Withconsultationofmarketingdirector,marketingstaff,andthecommercialteam,develop,publishandcommunicatetheannualmarketingplanforassignedproducts.
5. Leadthedevelopmentofcommunicationplans(positioning,target,tactics)andpackaging.WorkwithResearchandDevelopmentandTechnicalServicestofurtherstrengthenproductstorythroughproductresearchinitiatives.
6. Conductmarketanalysistomonitorcompetitiveproducts,sales,shareandmarketingactivities;deploycategoryknowledgeandunderstandingtothemanagementofproductlines.
7. Translateresearchdataintoproductperformanceupdates,technicalbulletins,andsales/marketingmaterials.
8. Providemarketingexpertise,supportandeducationtothecommercialteamforsuccessfulsalesoutcomes.
9. Workcloselywiththeglobalproductmanagementteamtooptimizeefficienciesandsynergies.
10. Createandmakepresentationstocustomersattherequestofcommercialteam.


Requirements:
1. Bachelor’sdegree,preferablyinoneofthelifesciences,(specificsciencebackgroundisdependentuponposition/productfocus)
2. 5-7yearsofworkingexperienceincludingatleast2-3yearsofproductmanagementexperience.
3. GoodlevelofworkingEnglishandfluentinChinese.
4. Experienceasaneffectiveprojectteamplayer,leader,andmotivator;andtheabilitytopresentideaseffectivelyandcommunicatewellwithpeersandalllevelsofmanagement.
5. Agoodunderstandingofthechemicalandbiologicalsciencesastheyapplytotheproductionofcompanyspecificproducts;anunderstandingoftheproductsKeminsellsandthetechnologyusedinthemicro-ingredientnutritionalportionoftheindustry.
6. Mustbeproactive,self-motivated,energetic,business-mindedmanagerwithabroadscientific/technicalaptitudebasewhoisabletoprovideproductleadership,setpriorities,delegateresponsibilities,andmeettimetablesleadingtotheattainmentofgrowthgoals.
7. Demonstratedachievementofproductsalesobjectivesandfinancialtargets.
